These earrings, though seemingly subtle in their presentation, are really rather intriguing upon closer inspection. Their wings offer a radiating pattern of shifting tones in black and grey that contrasts its bright yellow and orange markings. This compelling species is Papilio Xuthus which can be found through many parts of Asia. With carefully craftsmanship, I have sandwiched these selections of wing between two pieces of hand cut glass. Then using copper foil they are held together while I skillfully finish with Lead Free Solder. Suspended by hypo-allergenic earwires, each earring measures 1/2" wide by 7/8" tall and they are remarkably light weight and fun to wear. Easily mistaken for an understatement, you be surprise to find that these wings are rich in fascinating details.
