These earrings are full of wonderful little details that upon closer inspection are really quite compelling. Each wing offers an interesting array of eye-spots cast in subtly shifting earth-tones and a richly deep black. This elaborate species is Smyrna Bloomfeldia and it can be found in its natural habitats from Southern Texas all the way down into South America. With carefully craftsmanship, I have sandwiched these selections of wing between two pieces of hand cut glass. Then using copper foil they are held together while I skillfully finish with Lead Free Solder. Suspended by hypo-allergenic earwires, each earring measures 1/2" wide by 7/8" tall and they are remarkably light weight and fun to wear. These are an absolutely a fascinating pair of earrings which are full of intricate details that you will love sharing with your friends.
