Green Spotted Triangle

The fascinating markings of these butterfly wings are really quite intriguing. Each somber black wing is highlighted by an interesting pattern of bright green spots. This curious species name is Graphium Agamemnon though it more commonly referred to as a "Green Spotted Triangle". It is a member of the Papilionidae family that can be found natively in India, through Southeast Asia and also in Australia. With carefully craftsmanship, I have sandwiched these selections of wing between two pieces of hand cut glass. Then using copper foil they are held together while I skillfully finish with Lead Free Solder. Suspended by hypo-allergenic earwires, each earring measures 1/2" wide by 7/8" tall and they are remarkably light weight and fun to wear. These earrings are truly a pair of exceptional natural beauties that you may find to be quite an enchanting addition to your wardrobe.
