Great Orange Tip

This real butterfly necklace will make for you a rather bold statement. It is a native of China and its Latin name is Hebomoia but it is commonly referred to as a "Great Orange Tip". I have encased this butterfly in several layers of hand painted resin following its form for a very natural look. The resin that I use is clear so what you see are the true colors of the butterfly. Also, the resin has the wonderful effect of turning the butterfly semi-transparent giving it an appeal much like stained glass. This real butterfly pendant comes on an 18 inch 1.5mm black leather cord with a small chain extension and an easy to use lobster clasp.
