Blue Bottle

Oh, how I love the exotic quality of these real butterfly wing earrings. Set on a sea of charcoal black are an interesting arrangement of coke bottle blue windows. This butterflies Latin name is Graphium Sarpedon and it comes from South and East Asia but it is commonly referred to as a "Blue Bottle Butterfly". Carefully handcrafted, I have sandwiched these selections of wing between two pieces of hand cut glass. Then using copper foil they are held together while I skillfully finish with Lead Free Solder. Suspended by hypo-allergenic earwires, each earring measures 1/2" wide by 7/8" tall and they are surprisingly light weight and easy to wear. Certainly a pair of attention grabbers, you will have fun letting folks know they truly are real butterfly wings.
